Dolphin Moon Magick

'Dolphin Moon Magick' is an original fine art scratchboard drawing in black and white. The image size is 20 in x 16 in. The person I designed this drawing for loves dolphins and wanted a mystical feeling. To get this feeling, I created a 'magickal mist' that is decending from the moon. This mist 'creates' the dolphins from the ocean waters they are rising from. This entire drawing was done with an exacto blade on black scratchboard. Very fine lines were drawn in layers, slowly building up the detail and highlights. I used tiny dots to bring life to the eyes and to create the feeling of the 'magickal mist'.
