Eagle - Strength'Eagle - Strength' is an original fine art scratchboard drawing in black and white. The scratchboard size is 4 in x 6 in. I used a similar image in the much larger 'Bald Eagle Moon'. But that one was actually much easier than this smaller image. It is much more difficult to create the kind of detail that I like, with the exacto blade and scratchboard this small. As with all my drawings very fine lines were drawn in layers, slowly building up the detail and highlights. Please note that the squiggly line effect is caused by digitizing the image for the internet. The lines on the actual drawing are smooth. Purchase of this original artwork does not include the copyrights. The copyrights are retained by the artist, Denise M. DesLauriers. Note that the copyright notice on the artwork is for protection purposes only. The text does not appear on the original drawing. This scratchboard miniature is unmatted and unframed.
