Evening Reflection

'Evening Reflection' is an original fine art scratchboard drawing in black and white. The scratchboard size is 6 in x 4 in. The sun is setting on this serene setting. It frosts the grass and sparkles the water as it disappears. The night sounds have not yet begun and everything is at peace. This entire miniature drawing was done with an exacto blade on black scratchboard. Very fine lines were drawn in layers, slowly building up the detail and highlights. Tiny dots were slowly built up in layers to created the clouds in the sky and their reflection. Please note that the squiggly line effect is caused by digitizing the image for the internet. The lines on the actual drawing are smooth.
