This chubby fellow is looking for a friend, but is not sure if he can trust you. He is curious though, maybe the right treat will win him over? This is another drawing in my 'Cat Eyes' series. The entire miniature drawing was done with an exacto blade on black scratchboard. Very fine lines were drawn in layers, slowly building up the detail and highlights. Tiny dots were used to bring life to the eyes and to create the nose. Please note that the squiggly line effect is caused by digitizing the image for the internet. The lines on the actual drawing are smooth. Purchase of this original artwork does not include the copyrights. The copyrights are retained by the artist, Denise M. DesLauriers. Note that the copyright notice on the image is for protection purposes only. The text does not appear on the original drawing. This scratchboard artwork is unmatted and unframed.
