Forest for the Trees

'Forest for the Trees' is an original fine art scratchboard drawing in black and white. The scratchboard size is 4 1/2 in x 5 1/2. The sun has found this forest glade. It is just a small place in the dark forest, but it is a welcome sight. The entire miniature drawing was done with an exacto blade on black scratchboard. Very fine lines were drawn in layers, slowly building up the detail and highlights. Please note that the squiggly line effect is caused by digitizing the image for the internet. The lines on the actual drawing are smooth.
