Forest for the Trees

'Forest for the Trees' is an original fine art scratchboard drawing in black and white. The scratchboard size is 4 1/2 in x 5 1/2. The sun has found this forest glade. It is just a small place in the dark forest, but it is a welcome sight. The entire miniature drawing was done with an exacto blade on black scratchboard. Very fine lines were drawn in layers, slowly building up the detail and highlights. Please note that the squiggly line effect is caused by digitizing the image for the internet. The lines on the actual drawing are smooth.

Purchase of this original artwork does not include the copyrights. The copyrights are retained by the artist, Denise M. DesLauriers. Note that the copyright notice on the image is for protection purposes only. The text does not appear on the original drawing. This scratchboard artwork is unmatted and unframed.
