Holly Santa'Holly Santa' is an original fine art scratchboard drawing in black, white, and color. The scratchboard size is 4 in x 5 in. I created this design to use on my Yule cards. I like the whimsical feel that I achieved with this cartoon Santa and holly border. The entire miniature was done with an exacto blade on black scratchboard. Very fine lines were drawn to create the detail and highlights. To add the color, I use a small brush to apply opaque watercolor. Please note that the squiggly line effect is caused by digitizing the image for the internet. The lines on the actual drawing are smooth. Purchase of this original artwork does not include the copyrights. The copyrights are retained by the artist, Denise M. DesLauriers. The copyright notice on the image is for protection purposes only.
