Mountain Winter'Mountain Winter' is an original fine art scratchboard ACEO miniature drawing in black, white and full color. The scratchboard size is 2 1/2 in x 3 1/2 in. A recent storm has left a thick blanket of snow on this mountain valley landscape. This tiny miniature artwork was done with an exacto blade on black scratchboard. Very fine lines were drawn to create the detail and highlights. Tiny dots were used to create the line of clouds above the mountains. For the color, I use a small brush to apply opaque watercolor. Be sure to view the detail images below. Please note that the squiggly line effect is caused by digitizing the image for the internet. The lines on the actual painting are smooth. And keep in mind that color shows up differently on individual monitors. The color is much richer in the original. ACEO (Art Cards Editions and Originals) are collectable, tradable and affordable.
