Two Maple Leaves'Two Maple Leaves' is an original fine art scratchboard ACEO miniature drawing in full color. The scratchboard size is 3 1/2 in x 2 1/2 in. This tiny miniature artwork was done with an exacto blade on black scratchboard. Very fine lines were used to lay out the drawing and then broader strokes were used to remove the black ink for detail, color and highlights. To add the colors, I used opaque watercolors and a small brush. Please note that the squiggly line effect is caused by digitizing the image for the internet. The lines on the actual drawing are smooth. The colors in the drawing will vary depending on monitor settings. All the colors are very rich and vivid. The copyright notice on the image is for protection purposes only. The text does not appear on the original drawing. Contact me with any questions or comments you may have.
